Dear Sir/Madam
Re: The GSA NATIONAL TRIAL
Schutzhund / Dogsport enthusiasts are invited to enter Ireland's National Trial on April 9-11 2010 under renowned German judge Herr Dirk Stocks (SV).
Helpers are Saul Wolsoncroft & Tommy Murphy. Tracklayer is Tommy Murphy.
The National Trial will be held on April 10 and 11, on Friday 9 we hope to hold the BH, SchHI and SchHII trials (subject to confirmation).
The competition represents a fantastic opportunity to showcase the talents of dogs and handlers in the obedience, tracking and protection disciplines up to SchH III level and is a qualifier for the World Championships in Seville in October 2010 – the last to be held in a Pet Passport-approved country for several years.
Hosted by Ortsgruppe Dunhallow, a member club of GSA Ireland, entrants and spectators alike will be made very welcome and can enjoy fine hospitality at club grounds over the weekend.
The club was founded in 2006 and in 2009 purchased a state of the art club house.
One of the founder members, Tommy Murphy, has competed on the world stage and brings a vast amount of experience to the club.
Since the beginning of January 2010 the club has seen an increase in memberships.
The venue is Dromina GAA Sports centre, six miles from Charleville in County Cork.
Charleville is situated on the N20 between Limerick city and Cork city – from Belfast 250 miles, Dublin 144 miles, Galway 88 miles and Rosslare 129 miles.
